Invite staff
Find Team under Organization settings, alongside Branches and Departments. Where permitted, the add controls beside branch/department selectors open a shared dialog without discarding your invitation draft. New records appear in other workspace selectors after saving. Changing workspace clears those shared choices; use Refresh to request current data if another administrator changed them.
- Open Team / Members using an account with invitation authority.
- Enter the person's sign-in email and choose a role. Read the displayed action description.
- Set branch/department restrictions if appropriate, within the scope you may delegate.
- Create the invitation. The person signs in with that email, completes their profile and accepts.
Roles are starting points
Roles supply default actions. Read Roles & permissions for the actual actions available instead of relying on a role name alone. Viewing, replying, moderating, exporting and seeing analytics are distinct permissions.
A member cannot delegate actions or scope beyond their own administration authority. Enabled subscription modules also constrain which actions are available.
Individual overrides
Inherit follows the assigned role. Allow grants an action within valid scope and entitlement constraints. Deny removes that action for the individual member. Review the resulting action list after changing an override.
An allow for one action does not grant an entire module. Check related view and action permissions together when configuring a workflow.
Scope and missing menus
Branch and department scope control which records are visible. Assigned-only conversation access restricts threads further. Create branches for locations rather than duplicating organizations.
Menus and buttons follow effective permissions. A direct route does not bypass backend authorization. After an access change, test both the menu and the action as the affected member. Live updates can remove content from an open page; reconnect if the browser has lost its connection.
