Visitor registration

Follow registration, arrival verification, check-in, service and checkout.

Prepare registration

Visitor Management must be enabled for the workspace. Authorized administrators configure entrances, branch/department associations, registration fields and privacy settings.

An entry point is a place such as Main gate or Reception. Required fields can vary between entrances. Collect only details needed for the visit.

Register a visit

  1. Open the public visitor QR destination, or use Register visitor if your staff permissions allow it.
  2. Choose the correct entrance and complete its configured fields. Host means the person being visited.
  3. Submit and keep the provided reference or private visit link as instructed.

Verify arrival and check in

A new visit remains pending until arrival verification is completed. Authorized staff can use Verify & check in. Registration permission alone does not grant approval or check-in permission.

Confirm the visit and identity using your organization's actual procedure. Use Deny only if authorized and appropriate. A QR registration is not identity verification by itself.

Service and checkout

Start service and Complete service record their own timestamps when available and permitted. Opening a record does not record those events.

At departure, use the visitor checkout flow or a permitted staff Check out action. Confirm the status becomes Checked out. Editing the purpose is not checkout.

Privacy and notifications

Private passes and links authorize specific visitor actions. Do not publish them. Identity visibility and analytics depend on scope and permissions.

External SMS/email notifications require configured delivery providers. An on-screen registration message does not prove an external message was delivered.
